A handsome chocolate-brown when new,
Ipe’ is an incredibly strong, dense wood,
with very high wear durability. When it is
exposed to the sun, with zero care, it
gracefully transforms to a mature, elegant
silver patina. Ipe’ resists splintering and
checking, as well as rot, decay, insects,
mold and even fire, naturally— The wood’s
outdoor life expectancy is over 50 years.
Ipe’ furniture is hand crafted using traditional
interlocking mortise and tenon, and dowelled
joinery to form rock solid connections that
last a lifetime. If you’ve enjoyed the park
